Three Different Coverages – A Rarity in Steel

Unlike most steel profiles, Box Rib is available in three distinct coverages – 5.2″, 6″, and 7.2″, all with a depth of 1-1/2″. Because all three are made in highly durable 24 gauge, that means you never have to sacrifice long-lasting durability for a different appearance. Regardless of the coverage, Box Rib panels create deep shadows and bold visual lines in both horizontal and vertical installations. This makes it ideal for both wall applications as well as steel fencing.

Numerous Uses for a Multitude of Projects

Yes, you read that right – Box Rib can be used as a steel fencing solution as well as exterior cladding! Optical Studios in Lethbridge was such a fan of the strong, elegant 6″ Box Rib in Black on the side of their building, they also ordered it as a fence alongside the walk path.

Box Rib also pairs well with other profiles. Sunbelt Rentals in Lethbridge combined 6″ Box Rib in Regent Grey with Forma Plank in Espresso Woodgrain, creating a visually impactful exterior everyone driving down the highway can admire. Box Sod in Coaldale utilized a sharp 6″ Box Rib in Melcher’s Green to go alongside Forma Plank in Espresso and Regent Grey, and FormaLoc in Iceberg.

Residential and Commercial Applications

Because of it’s very specific, modern-industrial appearance, we’ve found our customers enjoying Box Rib in both the residential and commercial sectors. Large restaurant chains such as Via Cibo and McDonald’s have utilized both 5.2″ and 6″ Box Rib. We’ve seen it used for pet stores, upscale housing, and mini-malls like Suggit Centre in Taber, which used both Forma Plank in Espresso Woodgrain and 7.2″ Box Rib in Stone Grey.
